Traditional skin fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels. Two to three rackings were done during the maturation period, and light filtration preceded bottling. Barrel aging of eighteen months, with 33% new wood, 33% 2nd, and 36% 3rd fill.

Dense, blue-black in color with seductive hues of violet. The sumptuous berry bouquet with generous blackberry and blackcurrant aromas against a background of smoky oak. The palate is in perfect harmony with the nose; taut and richly flavored, with well-integrated tannins promising excellent maturation potential. A Bordeaux-style blend in the finest tradition. Wonderful with game and red meat.
