Grapes hand-picked from old vines. Fermentation in stainless steels tanks, then left on the skins for four weeks. Barrel maturation took place in new and 2nd fill small French oak barrels for eighteen months.

Rich, complex nose of toast, spice, cassis, blackberry, eucalyptus and tea leaves. On the palate, a full-bodied wine with a firm tannin structure, pepper spice, dark fruit and a touch of coffee. Best served with steak, rack of lamb infused with rosemary, oxtail, grilled black mushrooms, or guinea fowl casserole.
