"The 2014 Syrah / Grenache is a blend of 80% and 20% respectively, with 20% new oak used for the Syrah in 500-liter barrels; it has a composed bouquet with redcurrant, loganberry, white fennel and bay leaf, nicely defined and opening in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip, sappy in the mouth with touches of Chinese tea infusing the black berry fruit with a composed, tensile finish. This is a very promising Rhóne blend from Creation."

Traditional skin fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation in barrels. Two to three rackings were done during the maturation period, and light filtration preceeded bottling. Barrel aging of fourteen months, with 25% new wood and 75% 2nd, 3rd fill.

Dark purple in color, almost black, with flashes of deep crimson. Alluring aromas of ripe black olive elegantly complemented by whiffs of pepper. A full-bodied, Rhône-style blend with intense flavors of ripe plum, black pepper, tapenade and umami. Supple ripe tannins and well-integrated natural acidity.
