"The 2015 Viognier spends six months on the lees without much active stirring. It has a tightly knit nose with hints of lime, beeswax and a touch of crustacean (cockle shells spring to mind). The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant, waxy texture. The acidity is well judged, a little laconic at first, but opening towards the finish with hints of nougat and Turkish Delight (though very subtle). It's the freshness that drives this Viognier along."

"Made entirely in stainless steel (most Cape Viogniers are at least partially oaked), this is relatively understated for the variety. Apricot, pear and gentle spice with refeshing acidity kicking in on the finish."

Fermented in stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation. Matured on fine less for four to five months. No barrel aging.

Pale gold, clear and shiny in the glass. Abundantly fruity and forthcoming, yet refined on the nose with fragrant white peach aromas mingling with a rich, creamy character. These combine seamlessly with crisp minerality and bouncy, well-integrated acidity on the palate. Delicious as an aperitif, or enjoy with creamy pasta and poultry dishes.
